IC Healing Station is a performance work commissioned by Whitecrypt Gallery, London. The work explores health, wellbeing, and myth through a live, embodied encounter between care and exhaustion. Two male performers engage in massage-like gestures on the artist’s own body, which is symbolised as wounded, fatigued, and physically overextended. Bathed in a gym-like green light, the scene evokes clinical recovery spaces, fitness culture, and ritualised healing environments, blurring the boundaries between restoration and strain.

The work draws on histories of performance art and live documentation, situating the body as both subject and site of endurance. The title IC Healing Station references the artist’s initials while also resonating with the phrase “I see,” suggesting perception, awareness, and witnessing. Through its layered references to myth, care, and visibility, the work offers an audience an encounter with vulnerability and repair, questioning how bodies are read, supported, and mythologised within contemporary culture.
