Where the Path Remembers
Where the Path Remembers was a part a group residency at Kaş- Turkey. Along the Lycian Way in Kaş, walking becomes a quiet ritual of noticing and gathering. Fragments of the landscape- weathered, forgotten—are lifted and held, then gently reformed into sculptural constellations. Olive seeds and sage stand in for what once was, breathing new life into absent forms. Each piece hums with a subtle vitality, carrying traces of touch, time, and terrain—where memory and matter meet, and the path continues within.
Imprints of an Ancient Tide was made as part a group residency at Kaş,Turkey. In Kaş along the Lycian Way, the work drifts between eras, where Neolithic echoes meet the quiet authority of ancient forms. Drawn to Lycian tombs and the enduring presence of the Patara Lighthouse, built under Nero’s gaze, I trace their afterlives through cyanotype. Light and time press images into being, mosaical pathways surfacing like memories. These imprints hold a dialogue between sea, stone, and sky—where histories settle, dissolve, and re-emerge in shifting, luminous blue.
